If you are new to investing or looking to add some readings to your repertoire, definitely check out these books below. You will not be disappointed. Depending on your goals, some of these books may be better than others.
#1 "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" by Gary Keller
Why it matters: Tons of insights from real investors and a blueprint for building wealth.
Key takeaway: Think big, buy smart, and build a portfolio methodically.
Best for: Building long-term strategy.
This was the first book that propelled my real estate investing journey. I have read and re-read the book several times. You cannot go wrong with this book!
#2 "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki
Why it matters: Not strictly about real estate, but it’s the gateway drug for many investors.
Key takeaway: Buy assets that generate income, and let your money work for you.
Best for: Shifting your mindset from employee to investor.
The “Purple Bible” as some call it. It is a mindset and framework that makes sense to making money work for you!
#3 "The Book on Rental Property Investing" by Brandon Turner
Why it matters: One of the most comprehensive guides out there.
Key takeaway: Covers everything from finding deals to managing tenants.
Best for: Beginners to intermediate investors who want step-by-step.
Brandon’s exact steps on investing in rental properties. Easy to read and some great takeaways in this book.

Why it matters: Focused on the BRRRR method — a powerful way to recycle capital.
Key takeaway: Grow your portfolio using other people’s money.
Best for: Hands-on investors looking to scale fast.
This book breaks down the BRRRR method that is talked so much about in the real estate investing industry. We use some of the models David speaks of in our business to help scale and grow. If you are not familiar with the BRRRR method this is a must read.
#5 "Best Ever Apartment Syndication Book by Joe Fairless

Key takeaway: Grow your portfolio through syndications. A-Z guide on starting and running a successful real estate company
Best for: Aspiring investors who want to lead deals and grow big portfolios
This is one of my favorite books as well. I have re-read it multiple times as I have advanced in my career. If you are new to investing this may not be the best book for you to start with. Once you have been investing and are familiar with the game and process, this book by Joe is a must read. It will take you start to finish on setting up and running a successful real estate investing firm.
Bonus Books:
Creative Cash Bill Ham- Not as well known as some of the bigger authors, but Bill packs a ton of information into this book. If you are looking to do creative deals, this book is for you.
The Honey Bee- Jake Stenziano and Gino Barbaro- Easy read, not a straight real estate investing book but a mindset book that helps you see the bigger picture and take control of your financial future.
Who Not How- Dan Sullivan- If you want to scale and feel stuck, this book is for you. It helps you see the bigger picture and what (or WHO, as you will see in the book) is required to help you achieve your goals. Simple but effective way of helping you get out of your own way to achieve more.
